Day 03 - Munnar

Today we can go for sightseeing to Raja Malai, a top peak of Munnar where you can see Neel Thar (mountain goats).This National Park is the home to the largest population of Neel Tahr still in existence in the world now. A variety of plant life is also present here. The well known medicinal plant ‘Neelakurinji’ is among the rarer species found here.

A view of the Mattupetty Dam in Munnar. Deficient rainfall during the last monsoon season has reduced the water levels in the reservoir across the State. Indo Swiss project; you can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). Mattupetty is famous for its Indo-Swiss livestock project, you will find over 100 varieties of high yielding cattle at the specialized dairy farm. Visitors are allowed in three of the eleven cattle sheds at the farm. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04- Munnar

Room

Full Day free to explore Munnar on your own. An overnight stay at the hotel is the ultimate in luxury. There is also a glass-walled Presidential Suite.The rooms have great views, round-the-clock room service, satellite TV, 24 hours hot water and much more for you to luxuriate.
Day 05-Thekkady

On arrival check in at hotel at Thekkady. Thekkady has the famous wild life sanctuary of South India, Periyar wildlife sanctuary, home to nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more. In the evening we can go for boat cruise in the lake to watch wild animals.

The pride of Kerela and a testimony to nature's splendor and human innovation, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on the banks of the Periyar lake at Thekkady. Here the high ranges of the Western Ghats are clothed in dense evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savannah grass lands.Overnight stay at Resort.

Day 06-Thekkady

Go to see the rare species of plants and animals.In the afternoon we can visit spice plantations like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estates etc..On our way back to the hotel, we could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight stay at resort.
